We have a range of coaches and organisers who can help you get things off the ground
Feel free to contact a local club organiser or a committee member.
Badminton England, the governing body can also provide you with support.
You may be aware that we are currently going through a restructure at Badminton England as a result of loss incurred from the global coronavirus pandemic and continued disruption to the game. The restructuring programme focuses on protecting the core elements of the sport, ensuring that we can continue to help the badminton community navigate the impact of the pandemic and stay active, while continuing to prepare for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in the summer of 2021 and protecting the next generation of young talent.
The first phase has been completed and as a result I will now be covering Lancashire (including Greater Manchester and Merseyside), Cumbria and Cheshire. As your local relationship manager I will continue to be your first point of contact for queries, information and support.
As a development team our priority will continue to be to support our clubs, coaches and members whilst looking at new ways to grow the sport, now more than ever. Our current challenge remains ‘returning to play’ and something we are working hard on behind the scenes to ensure we have as many venues open as possible allowing you to get back on court.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to identify our priorities, new ways of working and where we can have the biggest impact moving forward - I will be in touch in the new year once I know more. However, in the meantime if you do have any queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I’ll do what I can to help.
Fingers crossed we can get back to a bit of normality in 2021. For now though, I hope you and your family stay safe and enjoy a great Christmas.
